We’re proud of our family dental clinic and the fact that we’ve been serving the community for over two decades. Over that time, we’ve gained experience, upskilled, and kept up with the new dentistry trends. We have a lot to offer our patient at Navan Dental - read on to find out more.

Does dentist Meath service children’s teeth?

Think back to your first childhood memory of the dentist, is it good? Chances are, these early experiences have shaped your relationship with current dental practitioners, for better or worse.

We strive to create a positive and welcoming environment for your offspring from their first visit with us. By being friendly and gentle on milk teeth, your child will soon realise that the dentist is not to be feared.

Our dentists Meath, armed with an all-encompassing knowledge of the anatomy of milk teeth, together with an ease and familiarity with children, makes the entire endeavour forgettable if not pleasant for your child.

What do routine check-ups entail?

A check-up is a standard procedure that ideally, should be administered twice yearly.

This treatment looks something like this:

We’ll ask questions about your medical history if you’re a first-time patient, or inquire about any dental issues you might be experiencing, or related concerns. Remember that you know more about your dental conditions than we do, so full disclosure is necessary - we’re professionals who aren’t here to judge.

Then we’ll conduct a thorough examination of your mouth, looking for abnormalities, or symptoms of diseases. This includes checking your gums and jaw points, as well as individual teeth for signs of decay.

If we suspect issues, we’ll take x-rays for confirmation, following which we’ll discuss your best options for treatment based on the results.

I’ve got dental anxiety, how can you help?

Dental anxiety is commonly experienced, so there’s little need to feel embarrassed. We want to think that we remove or reduce these fears by being extremely compassionate and caring towards our nervous patients. If our methods don’t relax you, we also provide conscious sedation to ease your nerves. Be sure to have a family member present to drive you home as the side effects will make you feel tired.

Does dentist Meath handle dental emergencies?

Dental emergencies aren’t planned and, for the most part, occur out of the blue. Our doors are opened to cater for your injuries. We’ll do what we can to provide you with a same-day appointment or attend to you as soon as we can.

Suppose the dental problem occurs after-hours, phone our hotline for advice on how to handle the situation. Otherwise, visit the nearest medical facility and let the hospital dentist check the problem out or administer pain relief. We'll squeeze you in for a detailed check-up during office hours to find the source of the issue.

What cosmetic treatments do you offer?

We offer a myriad of aesthetic procedures to enhance your appearance. From teeth whitening to dental implants, we administer high-quality treatments designed to improve your quality of life.
