Anyone who is seeking dental implants in Navan, need look no further than our friendly, approachable and expertly trained staff and dental practitioners here at Navan Dental.

Getting to the root of the problem

At Navan Dental, we believe that dental implants in Navan are generally the most beneficial way of dealing with lost or missing teeth. We understand the pressures and stresses that patients can experience from having large or unsightly gaps in their mouths, as well as the inherent structural damage that can arise from not seeking the proper course of treatment. Whilst other methods of replacing lost teeth, such as crowns or bridges, act as a purely prosthetic solution, dental implants in Navan work by replacing the entire tooth at its root, which results in far stronger and durable results, and the patient's smile being fully restored for years to come. As teeth affect the entire structure of a patient's face, when teeth have been lost, patients can often find it to have a massively detrimental effect on their outward appearance, as well as appearing far older than their years. Dental implants however, address these problems by providing a fully restored, good-as-new tooth which is virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding teeth, and just as strong.

Filling in the gaps

The process of undertaking dental implant treatment here at Navan Dental, initially consists of a brief and informal consultation period. This is done to establish the extent of treatment that is necessary, as well as fill the patient in on the basics of the process and what they can expect the results to be. Thereafter, once the patient feels comfortable with the procedure, a small hole will be drilled into the area of the patient's mouth, which is the space where the missing tooth or teeth ought to be. After this, a titanium socket is inserted into the hole and left to heal. Titanium is utilised for its unique ability to fuse with human bone tissue, and after a brief healing period in which it does exactly that, a replica tooth is then screwed in place. As the socket has fused itself with the bone in the patient's gum, the new replacement tooth, which is constructed from porcelain or plastic, is firmly fixed in place. Those who receive treatment of this nature can find their sense of self-esteem and confidence greatly boosted, as well as their ability to smile without fear or embarrassment fully restored.
